The Ploy 162: Awkward

After months of chemotherapy Paul confesses his cancer diagnosis to his family, having just three months left to live. Distraught, Mike is forced to step in as the family provider. Left to his own devices, Mike whips up a fresh creme brûlée — calming the situation momentarily. Meanwhile Kelsey has started drinking again, but finds herself in trouble when caught in a bar fight at a lesbian biker bar, will she be able to escape?

This week on the show, we talk about Kelsey’s boyfriend Eastside, Paul’s nerd-camp in Los Angeles, how Paul is just one step away from having a Mexican boyfriend, and we discuss the big fight between Paul and Kels. Plus Mike’s noodle restaurant experience and we give Paul a eulogy, just in case he dies before the next episode.

Unbeknownst to them, a school of angry loan sharks are on their way to collect Mike’s debt to a mysterious “investor.” What will happen next? We shall sea.

The Ploy 159: Fragility

Kelsey is back from rehab but has some tough questions for Paul. Mike is kidnapped by the cartel and must start reevaluating if gambling is worth all the risks. Paul is embarrassed when his mother walks in on him in a compromising position, meanwhile his plans for the ballroom dancing recital go up in smoke.
