How long has the show been going for?
Our first episode was released on January, 10th 2006.

Why do Ben and Mike interrupt each other?
Ben and Mike are not in the same state! Ben is in Queensland, Australia and Mike is in Victoria, Australia. separated by another whole state! See the map to the right for more information.

How do you do the show then?
We use a program called Skype and do the show via that, it’s basically like doing it over the phone.  That’s why “lag” occurs and causes us to interrupt each other.

Have Ben and Mike met in person before?
Nope! But hopefully one day.

Why is there such a delay between episodes?
Unfortunately The Ploy is not our first priority and other commitments come first. So sometimes we are unable to get together and do a show for a while, but we will get a new episode out eventually - so be patient!

NEW: What’s with the mixture of regular episodes with Ben and Mike and episodes with just one of you on a specific topic?
As previously mentioned we can’t always get together but one of us may be available and want to get an episode out and sometimes an opportunity to have an interesting discussion or talk to an interesting person arises, and we would not want to turn down an opportunity to do something different.
