Should NASA continue to be funded in light of the huge amount of US debt? Paul thinks we should continue exploring our solar system but is it fair to do that and not fund healthcare? We debate.

Plus Lara Bingle, Jessica Simpson is kind of fat, Apple delays the iPad for Australia and Disney hates Cablevision.

Not to mention the final part of our interview with former ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’ announcer and sketch artist Joel Godard who this week speaks out about why he didn’t appear on ‘The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien’. It’s Football Night in America this week as Mike, Paul and special guest co-host Kristen Miller discuss the Superbowl results and the ever popular commercials, including the reunion of Jay Leno and David Letterman. We also take on the controversy over a pro-life ad during the telecast, and CBS refusing to air an ad for a gay dating website.

We premiere the new segment ‘Mike B’s Weekly Top 3′ where we go over the top 3 stories of the week in a rapid fire style. A long lost friend of the show thinks Mike is the best part of it, we cover the iPad from Apple, talk about raising the legal drinking age from 18 to 21 in Australia and American Patriots returns with a shocking announcement.

Also this week, John T. Kramer from Britethorn joins us to talk Saturday Night Live and the relationship between politics and comedy.

Mike tells Paul and Kristen about a dream he had about them, our buddy got a new job and we go totally off topic and stray into subjects we should never have addressed.

Episode Scheduling: Episodes this season will be released Wednesdays instead of Fridays. We will be taking a short break for the next two weeks and will return with special guest John T. Kramer on Wednesday, 10th February.

It’s The Ploy Season 5! This episode is a bit different than normal as Mike is off in ‘rehab’ but manages to call in and have a chat to Ben and Paul.

Ben and Paul manage to tackle the big issues this week though; Why are there Babes in bikinis? Ben is disgusted and wants to know, Paul is assaulted by a crazy neighbor, Ben and Shazza meet a listener of the show, and Mike tells the guys all about his rehab stay.

The Ploy 107: Season Finale

It’s our final show of 2009, so sit back and get ready to be hit in the face with a ham full of comedy.

We wrap up the year talking about Christmas gifts and Paul’s Thanksgiving celebrations, we mourn the loss of Rove and Oprah, Deloris our Receptionist returns and some of our regular segments farewell the year and we pay tribute to this season of The Ploy with a special retrospective at the end of the show!

We also have a very special chat with the real Shannon, Ben’s girlfriend who reveals details about Ben’s first kiss. Very risque stuff here.

Our very final guest of 2009 is Ken Levine, Emmy Award winning writer and director of M*A*S*H, Cheers, Frasier, The Simpsons, Wings, Everybody Loves Raymond, Becker and Dharma and Greg. He speaks about his experiences working in television and his encounters with the stars of the shows.

The whole team is back on January 10th, 2010 with our 5th Season, until then have a safe Holiday!
